bio

I completed my Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Barcelona in June 2015. Before that, I was an undergraduate at the University of Padua and a B.Phil. student at Oxford.

Between 2010 and 2013, I worked as Early Stage Researcher in the FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network on Perspectival Thought and Facts (PETAF). In the academic year 2014/2015, I held a fellowship at the New York University Center for Mind, Brain and Consciousness. Over the years, I have visited several research centers across Europe – including Eidos in Geneva, Arché in St Andrews and the Northern Institute of Philosophy in Aberdeen.

In 2015/6 I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hamburg, with the SNF Sinergia Project "Grounding: Metaphysics, Science & Logic". Between 2017 and 2019, I was a postdoc working on self-knowledge at the University of Stirling, with the John Templeton funded project "Knowledge Beyond Natural Science".

Currently, I hold an SNSF Ambizione grant at the University of Geneva, with a project entitled "The Privileged Present: from Phenomenology to Metaphysics".
